Simple unleavened chicken and mushroom pies
Quick and tasty pies with chicken and mushrooms. The dough is ready in 5 minutes, but it takes about 30 minutes for it to stand. You can take any stuffing that you like. We have not cooked them with handles yet, but it is worth a try.
- 200 grams of flour;
- 100 grams of boiling water;
- 60 g of oil;
- 200 grams of chicken meat;
- 200 grams of champignons;
- 1 bow.
Cooking simple chicken and mushroom patties
Add boiling water, salt and butter to the sifted flour, knead the soft dough and put it to rest until it cools.
Meanwhile, make the pie filling:
- fry the onion;
- add chicken, cut into small cubes, no more than 5 mm (or fry large pieces, then cut);
- add mushrooms;
- salt, pepper.
Cut the dough into 10 pieces, roll each one into a circle. Make an incision in the middle of the circle and wrap the filling in a circle to make a pyramid. Pinch the bottom and place on a baking sheet.
Bake unleavened chicken pies for about 20 minutes at 200 degrees.
You can replace the filling with anything you can find in the fridge. For example, cheese with green onions and salt will also be savored. You can add cottage cheese, rice with an egg or boiled meat. Choose what you like.
These are very simple pies that do not require much time, and at the same time they taste like our favorite pasties. For those who do not have the opportunity to taste them now – I ask you to try this recipe.
