This is another way to make Christmas brownies. The recipe is very simple, and the cookies turn out with the right cracks and a very delicate taste. Bon Appetit!
Ingredients
- 120 g (82.5%) butter
- 400 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 6 g vanilla
- 120 g dark chocolate
- 275 g flour
- 8 g baking powder
- 3 g salt
- 50 g powdered sugar for sprinkling
How to make Christmas Brownies
In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar with a whisk until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and beat thoroughly for 2-3 minutes.
Melt the chocolate in the microwave or on the stove, being careful not to burn it. Pour the melted chocolate into the bowl and mix well with a spatula.
Mix flour, baking powder and salt and add to bowl. Mix well with a spatula until the dough is smooth. Cover the dough with a lid and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. The dough can be stored in the refrigerator for several days.
The dough should be rolled out when it warms up to room temperature. Cold will crumble a lot, and too warm will stick to your hands and float.
- When everything is ready, preheat the oven to 200C degrees.
- Divide the dough into 20g pieces with a spatula.
- Roll out the dough into 2.5 cm thick balls and add the sifted confectioner’s sugar.
- Place on parchment or baking mat and bake for 10 minutes.
The tops of the cookies will crack or crumble. After 10 minutes, check the Christmas brownies – they should be soft and sticky. When completely cool, sprinkle them with powdered sugar until a crust forms.
Store in an airtight container. They hold up very well and will be better the next day.
